Home Page
Yeah, we decided on a picture of the room for the hompage. With a book on a desk which will then be animated (once the user has clicked on it). Or we can have a picture of a room with a bag in the corner, and once the bag is clicked it is animated to bring out a map, which is pinned to the wall, and a timetable/book which will be on the desk.
Take 2 pictures - one of the room prior to the bag being opened and one where the map and book are in the final positions, this will make it easier to animate through the missing frames, please also send a seperate pic of the book and map we are using. Ive got the bag now, which looks great, ill start animating that.
Im going to create a letter with a welcome message on like we discussed too, just to give a little insight into what your supposed to be doing. But not too much hey. We can use or or not use it. See what we think on monday.
I also need a point and click image for the 'how to clean up after a party'. And ill turn that into the game. Ive also got a fairly good idea of how to design the exam aswell, just using rollovers and cleverly linked pages.

This is the bag that will act as a rollover on the main page, by clicking it you will find your map and your timetable.
One of the rollovers for the Seminar Room, the projecter buttons become active once the rollerboard has been clicked (this then keeps it open).
This is the map that you will find in your bag, this includes rollovers which you must find. The Pub (Practical), Lecture Theatre (Lecture), Seminar Room (Seminar) and Home (Homepage)

A Start...
We have chosen to design an interactive website around a series of books titled 'The Worst-case Scenario'. The books features hints and tips on how to stay calm in the most awkward situations life gets you in.
Thinking tactfully we decided to choose the university based book and drew our inspiration from that, and applying those to the situations we have also faced as students.
We have started to look at ways to create an appropriate context to our interactive website by exploring possible university based themes. We thought aboud different media, such as film, and how we could create a sattirical survival show. Like Ray Mears with an attitude. We thought about how the context could fit a story, with a first person perspective to the whole idea. We have thought about appropriate style and humour content and have some great initial ideas to get us started.
